Test the hardest continuity question

A novelist preparing several print and ebook editions has a different bottleneck from one checking a character's changing allegiances across thirty chapters.

How the workflow works

Where a character detail lives

In Scrivener you can keep a character sheet with your research in the Binder. In Loomworld you can link a passage to a character card and record how that character changes across chapters.

What you deliver

Scrivener’s Compile workflow is a reason to keep it for book production, including ebook output. Loomworld is suited to drafting against linked story records. Keep your existing production project for final formatting.

Scrivener sells platform-specific licenses, with a separate iOS purchase. Check the store for regional pricing.

Try a chapter before moving the book

Export a short chapter as text from Scrivener. Keep the original project and its research. In Loomworld, try connecting one passage to a character and finding that card again during revision.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open a .scriv project in Loomworld?

No. Keep a copy of the Scrivener project. Transfer supported text separately. Binder structure and Compile settings do not come over with a text export.

Test the hardest continuity question

Record a change of allegiance in one chapter. Reopen an earlier scene and check which version of the relationship belongs there.
