## What Free gives you

Free keeps the editor, reference modules, pacing analysis, timeline, foreshadow board, import and export for the long term. Ordinary free accounts still save only on this device after sign-in; the web app uses the current browser's storage, so export project packs for backup. Creating, opening and saving a local project do not require a cloud subscription.

Subscriptions are about three other things: AI collaboration credits, unlimited AI archive maintenance, and cloud sync.

## The three subscription tiers

Current published prices, per-period:

- Personal CN ¥29 / Global US$4.99 per 30 days: 300 AI collaboration credits granted.
- Pro CN ¥59 / Global US$9.99 per 30 days: 800 credits, everything in Personal.
- Flagship CN ¥99 / Global US$19.99 per 30 days: 1,500 credits, everything in Pro.

All three include unlimited AI archive maintenance (chapter summaries, the story overview, entity dossiers, continuity checks, scene summaries). They differ in per-period credits and cloud capacity of 10 / 20 / 30 projects. Recorded legacy Global cloud access is preserved separately in your account center. ## When a subscription pays for itself

Three real situations, three kinds of value:

- You write one work on two machines: cloud sync, instead of carrying files by hand.
- The work has grown long enough that someone should keep track: maintenance keeps chapter summaries, the story overview, entity dossiers and continuity reports current, so chapter 30 still knows what chapter 3 planted.
- You want AI actually involved: selection rewrites, continuations and chat-to-proposal all spend credits, and the per-period grant is that budget.

The other way round: if you only want a structured local script editor, with no sync and no AI, Free is complete rather than a trial. The tool itself is not locked.

## How credits are spent

What a request costs follows its complexity rather than a flat per-call price: a continuation assembles far more context than a one-line rewrite, and image generation is priced apart from text. Roughly: the more it reads and the more it writes, the more it costs.

Tasks reserve credits at the start and settle against actual usage. The lobby start chain bills at 0.5× the normal token price. Included maintenance during an active subscription does not spend user credits; ordinary writing and images still follow usage pricing. Unused term credits expire at the end. Extra credit packs and prices are shown before checkout.

## Where to see the balance

Settings → Account: available and reserved credits at the top, then four record lists—the agent tasks, the credit ledger, text call summaries, image call summaries. The numbers come from the server ledger, which is the single authority across every device; no local cache can make a balance larger.

The top-bar account menu keeps the current credit figure in sight while you write.

## Payment status

The Global edition uses Creem and the CN desktop website uses Alipay. Confirm the product and price after sign-in. Subscriptions last 30 days and renew manually, without automatic charges.

Friends can enter your referral code at sign-up. Eligible rewards are granted by the server after their first confirmed payment; the related reward is recovered on refund.

## If credits run out

With no balance an AI request may not continue, and the interface says why. Writing, the reference modules and syncing are unaffected—nothing local stops because of credits.

- Spend better: split a cross-chapter ask into narrower requests; save continuation for the places you are genuinely stuck, and use selection actions for local wording.
- Wait it out: grants are issued per subscription cycle, and the ledger in Account is authoritative about expiry.
- Read before you confirm: the only wasted spend is a generation you adopt without looking—until you confirm, nothing is written.
